Episode 8: The Second Presidential Debate – Talk Amongst Yourselves

With a debate that lacked policy specifics and, well, kind of boring, our hosts channel the humor of some great comedians (or at least they though they did), and aggressively dive into some deep policy discussions in the 8th episode of PoliTalk.

  • What is the nature of life?
  • Is health care a right or a responsibility? To Whom?
  • Why aren’t Jeff and Glenn hosting a morning show on MSNBC?

These are the vital questions debated this week in a show that’s sure to generate a lot of buzz.

  1. John McCain was writing on his notepad,”I hate Barack Obama” 100 times.

Barack Obama was writing, “Must thank John for the History lessons.”

Thank God that John McCain knows it is simple to fix Social Security. His experience shows – de-regulate it and it will implode – that fixes it.

I like Bob Sheifer of CBS news. I hope he gets better control of the next debate than did Tom Brokaw. Tom should have have hammered these guys to answer the questions that were asked.

I’m glad John McCain knows how to fix everything. Please send him over – I have a small leak in my toilet.
